Staci
Engagement Support Worker

Staci is our giraffe loving engagement support worker who started her career in care and social support settings, both on the island, and on the mainland. 

Staci has a broad range of qualifications including Level 3 health and social care, sports and fitness, public services, managing challenging behaviours, autism awareness and administering medications. Since joining Sense Inclusion in 2021, she has completed further training in safeguarding, mental health first aid and PACE. 

Being neurodivergent herself, she has always wanted to support children with additional needs. She is currently studying her final year of a FDA in learning support through the University of Portsmouth, having recently qualified as a HLTA alongside a 9 month work placement at Greenmount ASD provision in Ryde. 

Staci is a dedicated care and support worker with an ability to positively engage children with of variety of SEND needs including complex learning disabilities, ASD, ADHD, FASD, rare genetic disorders, and trauma backgrounds. 

Staci has a personal understanding of the challenges children with additional needs can face, she is a ‘child magnet’ with a very lively and unique character; 

She has the ability to engage with, and be attuned to some of our more vulnerable and hard to reach children and is she is a very valuable member of our team.
