Kate is our commissioned group supervisor who provides half termly supervision for our team. Kate is a consultant nurse in child, and adolescent mental health and a national trainer for Mental Health First Aid England (MHFA). Along with providing supervision and training, Kate also works privately as a training consultant in infant, child, adolescent and adult mental health.
Kate previously worked for CAMHS on the Island where she was seconded for eight years to various settings including early years, schools and forensics. In addition to this, Kate was one of the clinical leads for the targeted mental health in schools project on the Isle of Wight.
Kate has worked as a consultant nurse for the autism diagnostic research centre where she was commissioned to undertake autism assessments, as well as setting up and leading a service for children with life shortening conditions at Mountbatten Hospice. Working alongside the team of educational and clinical psychologists and speech and language therapist at Kate Golding Health and Wellbeing, Kate continues to work in the core MDT providing autism assessments.
Kate has provided clinical supervision for psychologists, nurses and social workers and currently, Kate provides clinical supervision for two large settings with patients who have profound and complex needs as well as now supervising the team at Sense Inclusion.
