Therapeutic Provision Lead

Ally is our Therapeutic Provision Lead and qualified HLTA / ELSA. Ally joined Sense Inclusion in September 2023 having worked previously at a local SEND primary school where for over 15 years, she worked as the lead ELSA in both the ASD provision, and across all year groups in the school.

Ally brings a wealth of experience to our team having supported children with complex additional needs for over 20 years. She is currently undertaking specialist developmental trauma training and will shortly be commencing her journey to become a DDP informed practitioner.

Ally can support children with complex additional needs including those with ASD, ADHD, PDA, trauma backgrounds, eating disorders, Attachment disorder and Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders.

Ally offers a very calm, understanding and nurturing presence to our children and young people, she can help them to overcome many challenges including anxiety, bereavement, and relationship and anger difficulties, along with understanding and managing difficult feelings and emotions.

Ally works with children aged 4-14 both from our centre in Ryde and in homes and schools. Ally can create individual bespoke support plans which help meet the social, emotional and mental health needs identified in a child’s EHCP.
